Results of QNB-Babyshop drawing contest announced

The winners of the QNB-Babyshop children’s drawing competition, ‘Expressions Season 3’, were announced at a function held in Al Asmakh Mall, Al Sadd, on Friday. The event was judged by Pratibha Pai, Salwa Hamdy, Yolanda Mercado and Udaya Shankar.The winners were felicitated by Santosh Pai, COO of Landmark Group Qatar; Yousef Jassim Fakhroo, head of External Communication at QNB; and Abdullah Mohamed Arbabi, senior officer – CSR, QNB.The winners are as follows: category 5-7 years, theme ‘Cartoon Character’: Shamita Adiga – first prize, Viha Laljani – second prize, and Malek Eslam – third prize; category 8-10 years, theme: ‘I Love Qatar’: Bindiya Pramod – first prize, Edrick Ryle Evangelista – second prize, and Roukaya  Jendoubi – third prize; and category 11-14 years, theme ‘Creating Wealth by Saving Money’: Deserey Chuateco – first prize, Nandana Bijukumar – second prize, and Shreyee Bhowmick – third prize.QNB Group was the main sponsor of the third season of ‘Expressions’, a large-scale drawing contest for children in Qatar organised by Babyshop.During the function at Al Asmakh Mall, QNB presented the winners with special prizes as recognition of their distinctive paintings.As a main sponsor of the event that brought together more than 4,500 children, QNB said it “affirms its keenness to support creativity in young talents in Qatar within its various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and programmes”.The event has provided an excellent platform for kids to portray their creativity, explore themselves and exhibit their talents before a wide audience.
