Every year at CES, there’s a wide variety of innovative and impressive inventions from robot appliances and blazing-fast laptops, to drones and AI-powered everything. The show typically doesn’t focus much on parenting products, but this year highlighted a different trend. In 2024, we were able to find some truly well-thought-out gadgets, devices, and products any parent would be eager to have in their household.

The Owlet BabySat sock monitors vitals in real time.
Owlet has been around since 2012, but the brand just released its first hospital-grade monitoring system for use in the home. BabySat, a fabric sock similar to Owlet’s popular Dream Sock, is FDA-cleared and clinically-proven to be safe and accurate for monitoring vitals, like pulse rate and oxygen saturation levels, in real time.
The sock is wrapped around an infant’s foot, and sensors inside the wearable send health readings to an included Base Station and the Owlet Care+ App. Any variations in preset vital signs will trigger alerts on the Base Station and send notifications within the app. The monitoring system is available now, and intended for infants between 1 and 18 months and requires a prescription from a healthcare provider for purchase.

The Veba Smart Bottle monitors fluid intake and tracks your baby’s bottle.
There aren’t many truly jaw-droppingly great ideas, but the Veba Baby Smart baby Bottle might be one of them. The first smart baby bottle monitor looks like a tiny belt that fits any vertical bottle in order to instantaneously track the freshness of either breastmilk or formula. Just give the bottle a shake to to see the status of the liquid on the companion smartphone app.
The Veba automatically adjusts the expiration info based on collected data like temperature, time, usage, and recommendations in line with CDC and WHO guidelines. This clever device can also track the amount of milk or formula a baby has consumed and can save you endless amounts of time—and yucky surprises—with a “find my bottle” function. The Veba Baby monitor can last for over a week without needing a recharge and is waterproof, BPA safe, and easy to clean. The Veba is available now for $129.

The Rosa Smart Stroller has autonomous features and helps push your child up and down hilly terrain.
A super-smart stroller that can rock a baby to sleep by itself, the Rosa Stroller features a 500W powertrain motor to assist pushing little ones uphill on long walks—and to help brake during downhill portions.
It can also autonomously follow along during walks, or stay a pace ahead. A camera in the handlebar authorizes who can use the stroller, and it can play white noise or read stories as well. The whole system includes a bassinet and car seat, which helps cushion its $2,400 price tag. Available for pre-order now, delivery for the Rosa begins in July 2024.
4. Tiki Smart System

The Tiki Smart system alerts parents when children enter hazardous areas around the house.
Designed to safeguard children from dangerous areas, the Tiki Smart System consists of a Smart Box hub, a children’s bracelet, tags to define danger zones, and a mobile app. Parents set predetermined danger zones using the tags, and if a child wearing the bracelet enters a danger zone, the Smart Box alerts at a 90db volume with a flashing signal and mobile app notification.
This device can protect a child from potential falls, burns, cuts, poisonings, or drownings by alerting parents when their kids get too close to danger. An ideal solution for any household with a pool, fireplace, or staircase, the Tiki Smart System has been in development for 22 years.

New Tonies figurines guide little listeners through meditation, potty training, and more.
Three new Tonies debuted at CES 2024 for the Toniebox, an audiobox we’ve long appreciated for younger, more tacticle listeners. The Toniebox can be squeezed and pulled to control its sounds, and the characters on top of the box provide different content.
This year the company released three new figurines. Sara the llama goes on a journey to discover the four Stones of Happiness, and, along the way, teaches four to five yoga segments alongside routines for mindfulness, confidence, and friendship. Jaime and Juniper learn how to use the potty and related hygiene, while Mo teaches mindfulness, meditation, relaxation, and exploration. All three are now available.
